Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after closing the browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for a longer period and enable the storage of page settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage duration in the overview of your web browser's cookie settings.

If personal data is processed by individual cookies we use, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR either for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in the case of granted consent, or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.

5) Contacting Us

When you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is processed - solely for the purpose of processing and responding to your request and only to the extent necessary for this.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. 7) Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing

7.1 Subscription to our email newsletter

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing additional data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For newsletter dispatch, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive the newsletter if you have explicitly confirmed your consent to receive the newsletter by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address you provided.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Here, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later time. If, based on a corresponding contract, we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products, we process the contact data you provided during the order (name, address, email address) to personally inform you about upcoming updates within the legally prescribed period, via a suitable communication channel (e.g., by postal mail or email), in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, based on our legal obligation to provide information. Your contact data will be used strictly for this purpose for communications about updates owed by us and processed by us only to the extent necessary for the respective information.

For the processing of your order, we also work with the following service provider(s), who support us fully or partially in the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data will be transferred to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

Thus, the provider processes incoming and outgoing invoices as well as, if applicable, the bank movements of our company to automatically record invoices, match them with transactions, and create financial accounting from them in a semi-automated process.

If personal data is also processed in this context, the processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in efficient organization and documentation of our business processes.

8.3 Transfer of personal data to shipping service providers

- Österreichische Post

As a transport service provider, we use the following provider: Österreichische Post Aktiengesellschaft, Rochusplatz 1, 1030 Vienna, Austria

We pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR before the delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or for delivery notification, provided that you have given your explicit consent for this in the order process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only pass on the recipient's name and delivery address to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The transfer only takes place to the extent necessary for the delivery of goods. In this case, a prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or the delivery notification is not possible.

Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future from the controller named above or from the provider.

8.4 Electronic Withdrawal Function for Distance Contracts

Consumers who conclude contracts on this website for which there is a statutory right of withdrawal have the option to declare their withdrawal via an electronic withdrawal function in accordance with the applicable withdrawal provisions.

For the provision of the electronic withdrawal function, we use a solution from the following provider: DD-Gossen.

When using the withdrawal function, in addition to details for identifying the contract to be withdrawn, further personal information such as the first and last name as well as the email address of the consumer must be provided or confirmed.

This information is initially collected by the provider on the basis of our legitimate interest in a user-friendly, stable, and process-optimized solution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, then used to confirm receipt of the declaration of withdrawal on our behalf by email, and finally transmitted to us. We subsequently process the transmitted information for the proper processing of the withdrawal in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR based on our legal obligation to provide an electronic withdrawal function for remunerated consumer distance contracts.

The information collected by the provider is routinely deleted after final processing of a withdrawal, provided that no legal retention obligations prevent this.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which protects data processed within the framework of the withdrawal function and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

9) Page Functionalities

- hCaptcha

On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Intuition Machines, Inc., 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA.

The service checks whether an input is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks, and similar automated harmful access. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the end device used, identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits this for evaluation to the provider's servers.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the internet and preventing abuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider relies on standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.

10) Tools and Miscellaneous

Cookie Consent Tool

To obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent, this website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool". The "cookie consent tool" will be displayed to you as an interactive user interface when you access the page, on which you can give consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications by ticking a box. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent will only be loaded if you give the corresponding consent by ticking a box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on your respective end device if consent has been given.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is generally not processed in this context.

If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in a legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.

Another legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As controllers, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically non-essential cookies dependent on the respective user consent.

Where necessary, we have concluded an order processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our site visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further information about the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

12) Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and – if applicable – additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax law retention periods).

If there are statutory retention periods for data that are processed within the scope of legal or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, these data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided they are no longer required for the fulfillment or initiation of a contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.
