COSMOTOP-SPIN watercolour brush, round — Series 5580

The working brush. Firm synthetic fibres with strong spring — the brush returns to a point instead of spreading and is more forgiving than a very soft brush.

We particularly recommend it for coarse earth and mineral pigments. Ochres and other earth pigments can be abrasive; a firm fibre withstands that work well. Its smaller colour reservoir also helps heavier pigment leave the brush evenly instead of settling in the belly.

Sizes 4 to 8 for details and lines; 10 to 16 for broader areas.
