GRIGIO oil and acrylic brush, filbert — Series 7495

A filbert is bound flat but shaped into an oval. This softens the hard edge left by a flat brush, allowing the stroke to taper gently at the sides.

It suits organic forms such as leaves, clouds, fabric, skin and fur. In oil portraits and landscapes, the filbert bridges the gap between a flat and a round brush.

The same roughened synthetic fibre as the flat GRIGIO: firm, with high colour uptake, for impasto application.
