Our kratom is regularly analyzed in a specialized laboratory for microbiological purity and heavy metals. You can view and download the original certificates on this page.

Why we have it tested

Kratom is a natural product. As with any plant-based raw material, cultivation, processing, and storage can influence quality. We work with an established US laboratory specializing in botanical analysis to ensure the purity of our products.

What is tested

The analyses are carried out according to USP NF Standard (United States Pharmacopeia – National Formulary) and comprise two areas:

Microbiological analysis

  • Total aerobic microbial count
  • Yeasts and molds
  • Coliforms
  • E. coli
  • Salmonella
  • Staphylococcus aureus

Heavy metal analysis

  • Arsenic
  • Cadmium
  • Lead
  • Mercury
  • Manganese

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "CFU/g" mean?

Colony Forming Units per gram: meaning how many living microorganisms are contained per gram of sample. The lower the number, the purer the sample.

What is "ppb"?

Parts per billion: one part in a billion. Concentrations of heavy metals are measured in this unit because very small quantities are detected.

How often are tests performed?

Our batches are regularly analyzed. You can find the current results on this page.
